Baptism

Sunday, Feb 8, will always be so special to me.  Of course it’s Madison’s birthday, but also the day that the girls and I were baptized.  The girls had been asking questions about it and we met with our pastor and decided to do it.  Madison went first.

It was very special to share this moment with the girls.  I gave them both a James Avery necklace with a heart and cross.

We’re ba-ack!  After taking a looong blogging break, I’ve decided to come back so I can document our day to day and have these memories to look back on.  I’m going to do a very quick recap of what we have been up too. 2020 was a rollercoaster.  I’m going to break it up over a few posts to get caught up. January  The girls started playing basketball.   They started on our pool and our backyard was a mess for most of the month!  The kids loved c oming home from school and watching them work out the window. We had lots of play dates and their favorite was g oing to KidsEmpire to play. Madison had her friend Kyle over to play.  I caught a little footsie action going on under the table. Our friends Jacob and Amber took us fishing.  I hung out with the littles and was on snack duty.  These two are so cute! The girls celebrated 100 days of school and made their own shirts to wear. A day at the dentist

The kids all had their dentist appointments.  It’s easier to do all 3 at the same time and knock it out.  Bebe came with us and thank goodness she did.  They played paper rock scissor while we waited. Landon had his first set of X-rays.  He made a gagging sound every time the lady even came near him.  We were all cracking up. The girls did awesome and got a great report.  Easy peasy.  Then it was Landon’s turn.  He clenched his teeth, cried, spit, BIT THE DENTIST (on accident, but still….).  It was awful.  I had to basically lay on top of him and hold him down while she pried his mouth open so she could BRUSH HIS TEETH…….WITH A TOOTHBRUSH.  I brush his teeth everyday, I’m not sure what got into him.  Afterwards we made wishes in the fountain and grabbed some lunch and called it a day.
