We love having our friends over to hang out and swim.  The more the merrier.

Landon finished swim lessons.  He did so good.

The ice cream truck came by.

We celebrated July 4th with sparklers.

Madison lost another tooth.

We decided to continue our tradition of going to Florida with the Hogans.  It was definitely different this year, but we made the most of it.





















Our neighbors were using our pool while we were gone and found a hat on our porch one day.  Ewwww

Girls night out

Kenzie turned 9.  It’s insane to me that she is as old as she is.  She is so kind and thoughtful and just a sweet girl!  I love her so much.  She had a space themed party and invited a few friends over to swim.

Kenzie started her journey with braces.  She had expanders put in her back teeth to make room for her pallet expander.

Kenzie had her friend Brayden over and Max was supervising.

We took another trip to GreatWolf Lodge.











Schools reopened with the option to go in person with plexiglass on each desk and wearing a mask, or doing online virtual at home.  We thought it was best for all of us for the kids to go back to school.  We went to meet the teacher and Madison got my friend for her teacher! 













Landon got a haircut before his first day of school.



Madison came home with this drawing in her folder.  I won’t tell you what I thought it was, but apparently it is a science beaker.

School wiped them out the first couple of days.



Covid has pretty much stayed the same for the last couple of months.

We’re ba-ack!  After taking a looong blogging break, I’ve decided to come back so I can document our day to day and have these memories to look back on.  I’m going to do a very quick recap of what we have been up too. 2020 was a rollercoaster.  I’m going to break it up over a few posts to get caught up. January  The girls started playing basketball.   They started on our pool and our backyard was a mess for most of the month!  The kids loved c oming home from school and watching them work out the window. We had lots of play dates and their favorite was g oing to KidsEmpire to play. Madison had her friend Kyle over to play.  I caught a little footsie action going on under the table. Our friends Jacob and Amber took us fishing.  I hung out with the littles and was on snack duty.  These two are so cute! The girls celebrated 100 days of school and made their own shirts to wear. February Landon made a bestie with our next door neighbor, Luke.  He is so sweet to him and always lets him play.

A day at the dentist

The kids all had their dentist appointments.  It’s easier to do all 3 at the same time and knock it out.  Bebe came with us and thank goodness she did.  They played paper rock scissor while we waited. Landon had his first set of X-rays.  He made a gagging sound every time the lady even came near him.  We were all cracking up. The girls did awesome and got a great report.  Easy peasy.  Then it was Landon’s turn.  He clenched his teeth, cried, spit, BIT THE DENTIST (on accident, but still….).  It was awful.  I had to basically lay on top of him and hold him down while she pried his mouth open so she could BRUSH HIS TEETH…….WITH A TOOTHBRUSH.  I brush his teeth everyday, I’m not sure what got into him.  Afterwards we made wishes in the fountain and grabbed some lunch and called it a day.

Volleyball, birthday, braces and puppies

Makenzie had a one day tournament a few Sundays ago. It was a LONG day.  We got there at 7:30 and got home about 7 that night.  The girls played really well and came in second.  Kenzie played amazing and got a lot of playing time.  She is really improving and her serves have come a long way. We took Papa out to lunch for his birthday.  He let bubba help him blow out his candles. Hallie got her braces.   I woke up and found Roxy snuggled up with me on my pillow.  Don’t mind the drool mark. I got the girls school pictures back.  They are getting too big. Makenzie had a private lesson with one of the coaches at her club.  She is really working on her serves. Madison came with Wayne and so to Lowes to get wood to finish up the bathroom.  She loved getting that one on one time and helping us. I took Madison out for a date Saturday morning.  She wanted to go to Target, Walmart and Chick fil A for lunch.  It was fun getting g to spend some time with just her.  She is so sweet and funny.
