Early birthday, sleepy dogs and camp

Instead of a party this year for Landon, he chose 2 friends to go to Shenanigans to celebrate with him.  He picked his 2 best buds and they had a great time. Wayne and I found a massage chair and had a great time too. I had a baggie with 3 “night night gummies” (melatonin) in it in their bag to go to their dads.  I found the bag on the stairs with a hole in it with just one left inside.  I wasn’t sure which dog did it but it wasn’t long before it was apparent….. Max took a GOOD nap.  Wayne had to go out of town and the puppies were not sad to he was gone.  They love getting to sleep in his spot on the bed. Kenzie had her 5th grade camp at school.  Normally  they go for 3 days and spend the night, but due to Covid, it was just a day camp this year.  They had a blast.  They learned how to start a fire and made s’mores, went on a paddle boat, went fishing, hiking and shot a bow and arrow. Makenzie had a one day tournament a few Sundays ago. It was a LONG day.  We got there at 7:30 and got home about 7 that night.  The girls played really well and came in second.  Kenzie played amazing and got a lot of playing time.  She is really improving and her serves have come a long way. We took Papa out to lunch for his birthday.  He let bubba help him blow out his candles. Hallie got her braces.   I woke up and found Roxy snuggled up with me on my pillow.  Don’t mind the drool mark. I got the girls school pictures back.  They are getting too big. Makenzie had a private lesson with one of the coaches at her club.  She is really working on her serves. Madison came with Wayne and so to Lowes to get wood to finish up the bathroom.  She loved getting that one on one time and helping us. I took Madison out for a date Saturday morning.  She wanted to go to Target, Walmart and Chick fil A for lunch.  It was fun getting g to spend...

Bathroom renovation

After we finished the laundry room, we were anxious to start a new project.  The half bath downstairs was in a desperate need of a make over.  It started out plain and boring……. And ended so beautiful.   We added green shiplap on the back wall and pink hand towels and a rug to match the flowers on the cactus.   The opposite wall has shelves that hold little succulents and cactus.  It is so cute.
