Early birthday, sleepy dogs and camp

Instead of a party this year for Landon, he chose 2
friends to go to Shenanigans to celebrate with him.  He picked his 2 best buds and they had a great time.

Wayne and I found a massage chair and had a great time too.















I had a baggie with 3 “night night gummies” (melatonin) in it in their bag to go to their dads.  I found the bag on the stairs with a hole in it with just one left inside.  I wasn’t sure which dog did it but it wasn’t long before it was apparent…..
Max took a GOOD nap.  Wayne had to go out of town and the puppies were not sad to he was gone.  They love getting to sleep in his spot on the bed.





Kenzie had her 5th grade camp at school.  Normally  they go for 3 days and spend the night, but due to Covid, it was just a day camp this year.  They had a blast.  They learned how to start a fire and made s’mores, went on a paddle boat, went fishing, hiking and shot a bow and arrow.





















She came home hot, sweaty and stinky.  Today they celebrated Landon’s birthday at school.  He got to wear a special hat and a bracelet.  He was so excited.

The weather was so nice this afternoon that the kids have been outside playing since they got home from school.  I can’t wait for spring to come and stay for awhile.

We’re ba-ack!  After taking a looong blogging break, I’ve decided to come back so I can document our day to day and have these memories to look back on.  I’m going to do a very quick recap of what we have been up too. 2020 was a rollercoaster.  I’m going to break it up over a few posts to get caught up. January  The girls started playing basketball.   They started on our pool and our backyard was a mess for most of the month!  The kids loved c oming home from school and watching them work out the window. We had lots of play dates and their favorite was g oing to KidsEmpire to play. Madison had her friend Kyle over to play.  I caught a little footsie action going on under the table. Our friends Jacob and Amber took us fishing.  I hung out with the littles and was on snack duty.  These two are so cute! The girls celebrated 100 days of school and made their own shirts to wear. A day at the dentist

The kids all had their dentist appointments.  It’s easier to do all 3 at the same time and knock it out.  Bebe came with us and thank goodness she did.  They played paper rock scissor while we waited. Landon had his first set of X-rays.  He made a gagging sound every time the lady even came near him.  We were all cracking up. The girls did awesome and got a great report.  Easy peasy.  Then it was Landon’s turn.  He clenched his teeth, cried, spit, BIT THE DENTIST (on accident, but still….).  It was awful.  I had to basically lay on top of him and hold him down while she pried his mouth open so she could BRUSH HIS TEETH…….WITH A TOOTHBRUSH.  I brush his teeth everyday, I’m not sure what got into him.  Afterwards we made wishes in the fountain and grabbed some lunch and called it a day.
