September and October

September
Makenzie started going to a volleyball gym and made their club team.  They did a drill with a ball u get their shirt.  It was teaching them to keep their arms up, but it looked really funny.

She lays in the weirdest positions.

We took the kids to Glen Rose drive they zoo.  We rode in an open sided safari van.  It was so fun.

Afterwards we went to the state park and walked around.  I wish we had brought their bathing suits and water shoes so we could have stayed longer.

Our neighborhood puts on a firework show every year that is amazing. We drove down to a park and watched them from the back of the truck.

We celebrated Hallies birthday.  A caticorn came to visit, and somehow this is the only picture I have.

Bebe and Papa surprised the kids at school with lunch.

She still lays with her legs stretched out behind her.

Landon had a petting zoo come to his school.  He said he wants a baby bunny.

Caiden is such a good artist.  He freehanded this Mario with sidewalkchalk.

Roxy found a pack of party paper plates and napkins….and a lunchbox.

Wayne took the kids fishing at a pond in our neighborhood.  The kids had fun and caught lots of little fish.

The puppies love coming in the car to pick up the kids from school.

Landon had a friend come home from school with him for a play date.  Boys are wild.

The girls started volleyball up again at the Y.  They are on the same team again.

Wayne took me to Lubbock to go to a Texas Tech game.  It was fun seeing where he used to live and go to college.  I watched the cheerleaders more than the football game.

I love the way Max sits on the couch with his leg out like that.

I got the kids school pictures back.  I still can’t believe they are in 2nd and 5th grade!

October
We got a pickle ball set and have been playing at home.  We decided to go to the courts at the park.  Madison really got into it.

Sweet bubba

Roxy has crazy eyes and sweet Max looks like he just tolerates her.

Landon and his friend at their class Halloween party.

Pumpkin carving time.  Wayne even brought out the drill.

We didn’t get the girls this year for Halloween but we did get a picture of them in their costume.

Roxy all stretched out.

Landon was Mario, Madison the red power ranger and Kenzie was a skeleton this year for Halloween.

Madison was a red power ranger.

We went to a Halloween party at a friends house in the neighborhood.  It was fun and lots of the kids friends were there.

We went trick or treating around the neighborhood and then came home to pass out candy.  That’s their favorite part.

Roxy stretched out on the couch so we all did the same thing.  I’m not sure how that is comfortable.

We were outside playing and Madison and Landon were on the same team and were being sweet to each other for once.
